WELCOME TO NORTH EAST HELP LINK

North East Help Link Trust (Ltd) is a charitable organisation, providing help and advice to homeless people throughout the North East of England.  NEHL was established in the early 1990's by the late Walter Wilkinson, an Independent Methodist Minister. The mission that Walter and his family started, of 'Showing God's Love in Action' still continues today.

The Trust provides regular meals for the homeless throughout the North East. In addition to this, we provide clothing and blankets, advice and a listening ear. Our clients often just need a helping hand for a short while to take them through what is probably the most difficult period of their life. I am sure that we would all like to think that if we were in desperate need of help someone would step up and offer a helping hand. This is what NEHL tries to do for the homeless people that we endeavour to help and support - provide that helping hand.

Our work requires a lot of committment from the people directly and indirectly involved, and for this dedication and enthusiasm we remain forever grateful.
